About me

I’m Ahab, a second year Level Design student at The Game Assembly Malmö and i am currently searching for an intership.

I’m passionate about creating immersive and memorable exeperience. I thrive on learning new skills, tackle creative challanges and being a great team player with high morale and great communication. From creating immersive spaces to fine tuning gameplay flow, I offer postive energy, optimism and all of my dedication to every project.

I believe that level design is an art form that blend challange with enjoyment, inviting players to lose themselves in the game world. This is what motivates me

Before Level Design

Me

Level design first caught my eye while i was doing my bachelor on Game Design at Blekinge Institute Of Technology, where i wrote thesis on using level design to communicate state of play and got awarded for level of the year and was the best article writting in the history of the program.

While i was doing my bachelor, my eyes were open up by the endless possibilites for game developemt was and how was the field is. What I was drawn to the most was to learn how to transform ideas into an actual gameplay exeperienc that would immerse the player into the game world. I believe that level design is an art form that blend challange with enjoyment, inviting players to lose themselves in the game world. This became later my motivation for becoming a level designer

Outside of game developemt, I have also had alot of various jobs that has really helped my develop med communication skills, from being a bartender for 8 years, to being a teacher and much more, I have always had to be able to communicate well and clear, then in best case, get the person I’m talking to to leave in a better mood

In my free time i enjoy the simple things in life such as fitness, travel , hiking, anime and ofcourse video games.
